I’d really love to hear from anyone going to the Summer Music Festivals overseas, share the experience, let me know what your favourite bands and moments were.

I recently bought the new Rufus Wainwright and Ryan Adams albums, I’m impressed with both.

Rufus, post rehab, has, as usual, created a modern opera of love and pain with ‘Release the Stars’. It’s a more accessable album and maybe the one to launch him to super stardom, debuted at No.2 in the UK.

Ryan Adams, also post rehab, has presented a very raw album ‘Easy Tiger’ and at moments he reminds me of early Neil Young. Musical backing is once again provided by The Cardinals, they have created some beautiful tones to support Ryans’ songs.
